3D animation for Volkswagen, made for YouTube, in which the user can decide online which story to watch.
Focused on the theme of the campaign “people feel things differently”, the 3D animation film developed for Volkswagen is a Santa-Cafundó co-production directed by the duo Alton.
The main idea was to provide the user with the autonomy to decide online which story he would like to see, thus generating greater interactivity with the public and also, arousing the customer's curiosity to watch the reactions of all the characters.
When it came to animation production and development, one of the biggest challenges was positioning the cameras for each scene, so that they best represented the “atmosphere” to be conveyed in each story. Another factor to be taken into account was the anatomy and expressions of the characters, who needed to be able to adequately convey emotions even with a minimalist look.
