Learn to read, count and imagine with educational games in augmented reality in the Dom Bosco education system.
In a digital age full of information, schools need to reinvent their education methods. In addition to competing with the various digital content, education systems need to attract children's attention with attractive materials.
That's why the Dom Bosco education system, from the Pearson group, turned to us to ensure that its educational app for children aged 4 to 6 years was interactive, fun and involved an experience in augmented reality.
15 augmented reality games were developed for the app, with a fun and happy introduction that invited the child to play with. All available technology resources were used to create a magical and playful atmosphere in the games.
The experience in games guides the children to a magical environment, in which didactic contents are applied to augmented reality.
To activate the games, the children place their cell phones on the printed educational material to interact with the applications in augmented reality. In addition to technology, the studio kept the characters from Turminha Dom Bosco to explore diversity and identification with children.
When creating all the interactions of the educational games, Cafundó carried out several tests with children. Prototypes of touch actions, finger positioning and the size of each function corresponding to the children were planned.
With the educational material in augmented reality, the final touch was made in the art direction of the game's characters and environments.
Let's make something awesome together!
