Cafundó has created an immersive and interactive experience about the nature of Florianópolis that invites visitors to reflect on the environment.
With the project "The Nature that Lives Here," the studio, in collaboration with the Florianópolis Museum, has created an environment where visitors find themselves surrounded by the island's fauna and flora through projection, animation, and interactivity.
The ecosystems of the Atlantic Forest, Mangrove, and Atlantic Ocean of Florianópolis Island have been digitally recreated, always exploring the studio's meticulous visual style. In addition to the 3D setting, animals have been given a touch of magic in their appearance through the use of particles and glow. Monkeys, whales, alligators, among other animated creatures, come to life. To make the experience interactive, visitors can even control the flights of butterflies and birds with their hands.
To provide greater immersion, real scenes of the environments have been interspersed. Additionally, each system has ambient sounds and sounds of its animals, all accompanied by a soundtrack that enhances the contemplative experience. The project was a success, with the audience learning more about the island's nature and reflecting on the environment.
